Quality Respiratory Care has the safety and health of our clients at the very top of our priorities, and our entire company is guided by this priority. We are awaiting more information from Philips (as of 22 June 2021) on the corrective action to be taken to correct the issue, and will keep our clients updated here on our website. It is out understanding that Philips is awaiting approval from Health Canada on the proposed corrective action to be taken to fix the issue.

Quality Respiratory Care is in the process of notifying all of our clients who are affected by this Field Safety Notice. This will take some time, given the volume of clients affected, and we appreciate your patience.

Philips has set up a Registration process for clients wishing to register their affected device for corrective action once it is approved by Health Canada. Quality Respiratory Care will also register your machine for you, when we contact you concerning this Field Safety Notice. Clients can register with Philips directly at

https://www.philipssrcupdate.expertinquiry.com/. Alternatively, Quality Respiratory Care will register your device with Philips for corrective action if you wish. Your machine information can be sent to us by Email at the address listed below, or we will gather your information when we contact you by telephone.

In the meantime, if you have any concerns about stopping your therapy as per the Philips Field Safety Notice, we urge you to discuss the risks to you and your continued well-being by stopping therapy with your Physician. For some clients, the risk of experiencing a serious medical event, or falling asleep during a critical task could far exceed the risk exposure identified in the Philips Field Safety Notice. Your Physician can advise you, based on your personal health situation.

We are in the process of setting up a wide distribution Email service that will update our customers affected by this Field Safety Notice. If you would like to receive Email updates from us, please send us an Email at Recallregister@QRC.ca , and we will add you to our no reply distribution list. In your Email, please identify yourself, and let us know that you have read the Field Safety Notice. This will help us greatly to ensure we notify clients as quickly as possible. If you include your Model and Serial Number (located on the bottom of the machine), we will register your machine with Philips for you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and helping us deal with this situation.
